This necklace is a series; every time I sell one I make another, but each one is different. The name is because there is a shadow-box effect between the saw-pierced tree overlay and the anodized titanium, such that there is a foreground and a background but no middle ground. Take your metaphors where you find them!
One of these has been a "cover girl" for Jewelry Artist Magazine.
Anodized titanium depicting my new home, the Blue Ridge Mountains, is set in sterling and graced with a beautiful gem, held by a tiny hinge (the hardest part of the construction!) Price may vary according to the details. The last one, with a pearl, is a somewhat simpler version that was less costly.
