This necklace is one in a series; every time I sell one I make another, but each one is different. The name is because there is a shadow-box effect between the saw-pierced tree overlay and the anodized titanium, such that there is a foreground and a background but no middle ground. Take your metaphors where you find them!
This one has been a "cover girl" for Jewelry Artist Magazine.
Anodized titanium depicting my new home, the Blue Ridge Mountains, is set in sterling and graced with a star sapphire (lab grown).
